World poetry day in Recanati: all the events
From 21st to 24th March, on the occasion of the World Poetry Day, a long series of events will be held in Recanati to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Giacomo Leopardi's "The Infinite", exceptionally exhibited in the town museum until 19th May. Concerts, shows and conferences will be held in the city. Many cultural guest will be featured at the Persiani Theater and at the Villa Colloredo Mels museum: Vittorio Sgarbi, Paolo Crepet, Davide Rondoni, Sergio Givone, Umberto Bottazzini, Antonino Zichichi, and last but not least Remo Anzovino. There will also be a DJ set by Samuel dei Subsonica.
Thursday, March 21st at 11 am, the Italian Minister of Education, Marco Bussetti, will open the celebrations, at 1.00 pm, again at the Persiani Theater, Vittorio Sgarbi will continue with "Romanticism: the infinite in art and poetry". At 5 pm there will be the presentation of the book "Infinito" by Bottazzini and, at 6.00 pm, the presentation of the book "Sull'infinito" by Givone with the journalist Nikla Cingolani. At 9.00 pm there will be the "Infinito all'infinito" with the actor Salvo Lopresti and the DJ set by Samuel dei Subsonica in the city theater.
On Friday 22nd at 9 pm at Persiani Theater, Davide Rondoni, Paola Camarco and Megahert will perform a mix of poetry, dance and music.
Same location at 5 pm on Saturday for Antonio Zichichi, an important exponent of scientific culture, at 9 pm Remo Anzovino will guide the audience on a musical journey through the sensations of Infinity with the show "Sovrumani silenzi".
On Sunday 24th at 6.00 pm Paolo Crepet, sociologist, essayist and columnist, will hold a dialogue on the psyche "infinite passion".
