Spaghetti with salami and fava beans

Simple and genuine first course, pasta with fava beans and salami is really delicious. In addition, the fava beans are a typical legume of this season, so you can bring to the table the flavors and the colors of the garden.

Ingredients:

280 gr of Spaghetti La Terra e il Cielo

600 gr of fava beans

80 gr of Fabriano salami

15 gr of Pecorino di Fossa cheese

3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

1 spring onion

Salt

Pepper

Preparation:

First thing first, peel the fava beans and remove the tegument and the pod. Then soak them and rinse. Boil the beans for a few minutes. Meanwhile, clean the onion and place it in a pan with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil. Brown them for a few seconds, add the fava beans, salt and add little water. After about ten minutes, add the salami (cut into slices) and pepper.

In a saucepan, boil some water and cook the spaghetti, leaving them al dente. Once cooked, drain and put the pasta in the pan with beans and salami for a few minutes. Before serving, add a little of olive oil. Enjoy!
