Food, wine and niche typicality. These are the souvenirs that tourists have chosen to take home from their Italian holiday. Four out of ten Italians chose gourmet products and only 19% return home empty-handed. These are the data, collected by a Coldiretti/Ixè survey, emphasizes the power of enogastronomy as a strong point of Marche tourism.

A land full of hidden treasures and unique products, which are the result of ancient traditions rediscovered by the peasants and carried on with passion and commitment. A region with an organic heart, where agriculture is among the greenest in Italy and in Europe. In the Marche region there are more than 78 thousand hectares cultivated in organic farming and 2,638 are sector workers.

Wine, cheese, extra virgin olive oil, honey, salami and preserves are among the most popular typical products. The tourists who have visited the Marche region this summer have bought mostly with oil, wine, sour cherry wine and honey. At the second place among the souvenirs is fashion, another great tradition of the Marche region and craftsmanship.
